Xiaomi founder Lei Jun has revealed the next-generation SU7 will feature the all-new "Xiaomi Dragon Chassis," a software and hardware-integrated intelligent chassis system designed to deliver "exceptional driving质感" when the vehicle launches March 19.
On March 17, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun revealed that the next-generation SU7 will feature a new "Xiaomi Dragon Chassis", a high-performance intelligent chassis system integrating hardware and software.
The new SU7 is set to launch officially on March 19.
Lei described the system as: "A high-performance intelligent chassis designed specifically for drivers, delivering an exceptional driving experience," and referred to the vehicle as a "next-generation driver's car."
The chassis features:
- Front double wishbone + rear five-link independent suspension
- Closed dual-chamber air springs
- CDC variable damping shock absorbers
- Four-piston fixed front calipers
- Standard 265mm rear tires across all models
Three key upgrades include improvements to:
- Braking feel
- Steering system tuning
- Suspension tuning
The new SU7 comes standard with 12 major configurations, including:
- Extended driving range (up to 902 km CLTC for Pro version)
- Fast charging with silicon carbide high-voltage platform
- V6s Plus motor across all variants
- Standard LiDAR with advanced driver assistance
- Enhanced battery safety and structural strength (2200 MPa steel)
- Nine airbags and triple-redundant door handles
- Upgraded cabin comfort and sound insulation
Performance specs:
- Standard version: 320 hp
- Max version: 690 hp
- Voltage platform: 752V (Standard/Pro), 897V (Max)
- Range: 720 km (Standard), 902 km (Pro)
Pre-orders have opened, with a price range of RMB 229,900–309,900 (approximately $32,000–$43,000).
